Additional Information:

• While many schools lost students during the COVID-19 pandemic, Desert Thunder grew in student enrollment making our school, a school of choice
• Our mascot, Wayne the Eagle, is named after Desert Thunder's former principal Mr. Wayne Deffenbaugh
• Desert Thunder has been an "A" rated school for the past five years
• Most grade levels take four field trips per year

• Tyler Messerschmidt, swimmer at Cal Berkley (broke the 100 freestyle record previously held by Gary Hall, Jr.)
• Dalyn Terry, 18th overall pick by Chicago Bulls in 2022 NBA Draft
